Summers County Career Center is a non-profit organization and it's mission is to provide career development services to residents of Summers County, West Virginia. The center offers programs that promote the economic vitality of the region by assisting individuals with job preparation and placement, entrepreneurship training, and community service.
We also offer a variety of workshops on topics such as resume writing, interview skills, workplace etiquette, computer basics for seniors or those who are disadvantaged because they do not have access to technology at home or work. The center has been in operation since 1997. We're located in Charles Town WV - just minutes from historic Harpers Ferry National Historical Park on State Route 340 near Interstate 64 Exit 17B.
The Summers County Career Center is committed to providing a wide variety of high quality career and technical education opportunities for students in the area. Our mission is to provide students with skills, knowledge, and competencies that will prepare them for lifelong learning and success in an ever-changing global society. We offer both traditional classroom instruction as well as hands-on experiences through our extensive internship program.
The Summers County Career Center is a career and technical education center, located in Hinton, West Virginia. The goal of the Career Center is to nurture, prepare and equip students for life after high school with successful careers. The Career Center offers courses in Automotive Technology, Building Trades/Construction Careers, Business Education/Accounting & Finance Careers, Early Childhood Development (ECE) Careers and Hospitality Management.
Summers County Career Center is a community-based vocational training center that provides services and programs to people in the Summers County area. The company offers programs such as Adult Basic Education, GED preparation, English courses for speakers of other languages (ESOL), family literacy classes, adult education classes, and many more. It also has 10 full-time instructors who are dedicated to providing quality instruction in a variety of different fields including: Health Careers Training Program; Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification Course; Computer Technology Courses; Culinary Arts Certificate program; Practical Nursing program; General Office Skills Certificate course.
