Tennessee Technology Center at Tazewell is a public, nonprofit post-secondary education institution that provides workforce development training and educational opportunities for individuals to succeed in their careers. The Tennessee Tech Center offers certificate programs in Welding, HVAC/R Installation & Service, Machine Tool Technology, Solar Energy Installation & Service as well as short courses such as Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), Professional Development Series (PDS) and Basic Computer Training. 

They also offer various apprenticeship opportunities with local employers so students can get hands on experience before entering the workforce. The Tennessee Tech Center has been serving the community since 1974 making it one of the oldest trade schools in East Tennessee.
