Areas are part of historic district where there are many significant buildings such as Jesse Hall and Curators Hall, Memorial Union, Columns Building, Francis Quadrangle with its iconic columns and Neff Chapel.

MU offers over 300 programs at 11 schools including: College of Agriculture; College Arts & Science; School Journalism; Graduate School; College Nursing & Allied Health Professions; Danforth Campus School.Since 1839, MU has been a part of the Columbia community and an integral part of Missouri life.
