It's been providing quality education since 1948.Lufkin has been home to Angelina College for more than seventy years, and we're proud of our commitment to the community that surrounds us. Angelina College at Lufkin (ACL) is a private, coeducational institution of higher education located in the city of Lufkin, Texas. It was founded in 1928 by Dr. Angelina Dickinson and her sister Mrs. Alma Dickinson and opened for classes on September 24, 1929 with an enrollment of 27 students. ACL offers degrees from two-year associate degree programs to four-year bachelor's degree programs as well as master's degree programs through partnerships with other institutions; it also provides distance learning courses through its online campus.
