We are a community-based, not for profit organization that provides people who have disabilities and other barriers with opportunities to live enriched lives in their own homes. Our programs provide training and support services to help people of all abilities become more independent. We offer the following:
*Daily living skills classes, including cooking, shopping, gardening, personal care and hygiene
*Computer literacy courses
*Home access modifications
*Personal emergency response system installation
A volunteer network that includes more than 500 active volunteers from Rome area communities.

The goal of the Rome ACCESS Site is to provide reliable and safe transportation, without any additional cost, to those who do not have an accessible vehicle or cannot drive themselves. The Rome ACCESS Site seeks to be a model of accessibility in order to promote inclusion and acceptance of all members of society.
Rome ACCESS Site provides quality, affordable health care in a convenient location. We provide free transportation for those who cannot drive or have limited access to vehicles.

The Rome ACCESS site is committed to providing high-quality, cost-effective outpatient medical care with emphasis on preventive medicine through education and outreach programs. This site strives to meet the needs of our patients by offering an extensive range of primary healthcare services including family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology (including obstetrics), laboratory/imaging studies and pharmacy services.

The mission of the Rome ACCESS Site is to serve as a resource for individuals with disabilities to increase independence by providing training in adaptive living skills, assistive technology, education opportunities and community involvement.
