Washington - Saratoga - Warren - Hamilton - Essex - Northern BOCES is a regional educational service center that provides services to students and educators in the Capital Region. It serves over 16,000 students annually with its wide variety of programs and services offered by more than 600 employees across four counties. The organization strives to provide excellence in education for all learners through partnerships with parents, communities, schools, colleges/universities and business partners.
The Northern BOCES is a cooperative educational service delivery system that provides services to students in 12 rural school districts. The mission of the Northern BOCES is to provide quality education and support services to enhance student achievement, while fostering collaboration among educators and increasing community involvement for all members of our learning community.
Northern BOCES, headquartered in Hudson Falls, New York, is a not-for-profit organization established by the State of New York in 1945. It provides services to the public school districts within its geographical area and coordinates with other organizations that provide educational programs for students who are outside its service area. Northern BOCES provides a wide range of education and support programs for more than 54,000 children and adults each year. These include special education; career & technical education (including vocational rehabilitation); adult basic literacy; English language learner instruction; family literacy/parenting assistance; guidance counseling services; early childhood development including preschool programming; child care providing safe havens as well as before-and-after school care at elementary schools throughout

The DOE certifies that we meet or exceed state standards for teacher preparation requirements as well as licensure requirements for teachers. In addition to offering full day preschool programs for 3 year olds through 12 year olds at five locations throughout the area,
